You notice what wasn’t on the table during the so-called debt limit negotiations was nothing that would hurt, or in this case inconveniencing billionaires or corporations. The entire negotiations were about how could the insurrectionist caucus hurt the least of these.
Shamefully, billionaire’s still get to deduct the cost of their private jets, and they get to keep every damn dime of the trump tax giveaway, but they were going to make sure shared sacrifice was never part of the negotiations.
